POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Specialist (Office & Clinical) plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for both HCBS/Clinical and Office staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This position spearheads initiatives to attract and engage top talent, maintains employee records, and supports various HR functions. Additionally, the HR Specialist serves as a key liaison between management and employees, fostering positive employee relations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the recruitment efforts for HCBS/Clinical and Office staff, utilizing diverse talent pools, online platforms, and industry networks. Attend and organize Job Fairs/Community Events to attract prospective candidates. Develop and maintain referral sources to facilitate ongoing recruitment efforts.
  • Manage the employment life-cycle for HCBS/Clinical and Office Staff employees, from pre-employment activities to termination procedures. Create and maintain employee files in HRIS/Payroll, Learning Management, and EMR Systems. Review and process onboarding paperwork, including Tax Forms, I-9's, and Company-specific forms. Conduct new hire orientation sessions and facilitate smooth transitions for new employees.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of employment-related matters. Process termination activities in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Coach, mentor and partner with Managers to document job descriptions, and performance evaluations. Collaborate and assist Managers with completion of disciplinary actions, promotions, terminations, and training records.
  • Support the Performance Management process, including communication with Directors and Managers, documentation, and processing raise requests.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address employee relations and performance concerns. Conduct investigations into employee-related issues and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping standards and confidentiality protocols. Responsible for compliance-related activities and audits
  • Assist with COVID-related follow-ups and return-to-work processes for Clinical & Office Employees.
  • Answer department phone calls and provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Secondary responsibility to cross-train for identified PCA HR Specialist job functions as assigned and performs other related job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with specific experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/Payroll systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to attend Job Fairs/Community Events and other recruitment activities.
  • Must have access to a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel purposes.
