Job Overview
The Customer Support Specialist II plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to all clients. This position involves handling incoming communications and resolving various inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming communications and ensure outstanding service to all clients.
- Manage and address customer inquiries received via electronic mail.
- Initiate outbound calls to follow up on shipment progress, resolve concerns, and keep clients informed.
- Monitor, trace, and update shipment information as needed.
- Provide assistance and support to Pilot stations and cartage agents.
- Become proficient in external customer applications.
- Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for NCS accounts, and communicate any necessary adjustments to management.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Technological proficiency, particularly with online tools and resources.
- High energy levels with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on detail.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years in a customer service role.
Preferred Skills
