Description: As the Jacksonville Operations Manager at SafeTouch Security, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing our branch headquarters. We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the installation and service operations of our security and fire alarm systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Service & Maintenance

  • Manage the scheduling and dispatching of service technicians for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure timely response to service requests and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets for the operations department.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all installations and services adhere to company quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential issues.

Customer Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for operations management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Highly proficient in operations management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of security and fire alarm systems and related regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects at one time.
  • Collaborative team player who places a high priority on internal and external customer service.
  • Experience in the security and fire alarm industry preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Lead and manage the operations team, including installation technicians, service technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality in service delivery.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full Time, exempt.

Work Location: onsite in our Jacksonville headquarters.

Travel: 25%
