Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily housing, particularly within modular construction. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $110,000 per year, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k plan. The position allows for autonomy, requiring the ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks while scheduling their own day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand our presence in the multifamily housing sector, focusing on modular construction projects.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including general contractors, architects, developers, and other industry influencers.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that meet project requirements and demonstrate the benefits of our panel-based building system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Represent Plant Prefab at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and foster partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development within the construction industry, with specific experience in multifamily housing and modular construction.
  • Strong network and relationships within the construction and real estate development sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
