The primary responsibility of this position is to secure commercial revenue on behalf of Playfly Premier’s portfolio of blue-chip sports & entertainment rights holders, including: professional & collegiate teams, stadiums/arena, live events, and municipalities. The successful candidate will be an experienced, polished sales executive who is expected to consistently source, pitch, negotiate and close six and seven figure partnerships across multiple client accounts. As important, the Sr. Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for professionally representing Playfly Premier in the business community while developing meaningful relationships with executive-level corporate decision makers that result in long term COI for our clients. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Identifying and soliciting new corporate partners
  • Customizing sponsorship packages
  • Cold calling potential partners
  • Identifying new sponsorable inventory
  • Face-to-face sales meetings and presentations
  • Maintaining and presenting client pipelines
  • Developing sales presentations and proposals
  • Travel domestically or internationally to meet with new or existing clients
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of industry sales experience with a verifiable track record of success in sponsorship sales
  • Solid network of contacts with both brands and rightsholders
  • Strong sports industry knowledge, specifically as it relates to sponsorships/commercial revenue programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work solo or within a team atmosphere
  • Sports industry experience strongly desired
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role primarily takes place in an office setting
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required
COMPENSATION The base salary for this role is $80,000 to $90,000. This figure does not include commission. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
