Position Summary

Axcelus Financial is seeking an associate level candidate who will assist in supporting and growing the business development, sales and marketing teams of Axcelus Financial.


Responsibilities

  • Support senior colleagues with deals and opportunities to optimize their productivity.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop marketing materials and communication pieces as needed.
  • Maintain and expand existing relationships with select business partners - Private Banks, Wirehouses, Hedge Funds, RIAs, Family Offices and Multi-Family Offices.
  • Generate proposals and presentations for opportunities with select business partners.
  • Research projects as assigned – market, opportunities, etc.
  • Coordinate and track cases in the pipeline from start to close by working both internally and externally, helping to support the senior team members when absent.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Overly proactive and organized around support and productivity tasks for sales team.
  • Client service experience with high-net-worth individuals
  • The ability to maintain relationships with those that support department and company functions.
  • Basic knowledge of compliance regulations and how they relate to marketing materials and functions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of tasks.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within and across departments.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis – advanced Excel skills a plus.
  • Experience with building & maintaining CRM systems highly desired.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite highly desired.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or several years of relevant work experience.
  • Three (3) years of related sales and client service experience.
  • The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Series 6 or 7 and 63 securities licenses or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
  • Variable Insurance license.
  • Knowledge of and experience with all Microsoft Office products.
