About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and successful Regional Director of Project Controls who will lead and oversee the project controls function within a region. The individual is responsible to ensure that designated personnel on assigned projects deliver services and solutions per contract terms. The position involves managing a team of professionals, developing, and implementing project control strategies, and supporting the company's strategic short term and long-term goals through business development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Provide subject expertise support for expansion of educational content utilized for building professionals.
  • Oversee project controls activities including schedule development, budget management, cost control, documentation control, change control and dynamic reporting.
  • Ensure alignment of project controls processes with organizational ISO 9001:2015 standards and client expectations.

Project Controls & Program Management

  • Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules, budgets, change orders, and financial forecasts.
  • Implement and manage Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to support projects.
  • Provide guidance on risk management and change management to ensure project success.

Strategic Business Development

  • Support the identification of new business opportunities and strategic pursuits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the professional community.
  • Leverage expertise in PMIS deployment to contribute to business development efforts and secure new projects.

Client Engagement & Satisfaction

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
  • Provide advice and solutions to clients, ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 10+ years of related Project Controls and Scheduling/Planning experience on large civil engineering programs.
  • Experienced in all project controls disciplines - Cost Engineering, Earned Value Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Document Control, etc.
  • Broad knowledge of Project Control Systems, BI dashboard technology and processes, and schedule processing software, program database platforms and spreadsheet applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $175-225k annually. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
