Stephens College is seeking a high-energy, positive professional to join our Enrollment & Marketing Team as an Admissions Specialist. This team member will play a crucial role in student recruitment with the goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student community.


The Admissions Specialist contributes to all aspects of the enrollment process: traveling to engage with students; interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications; building relationships with high school counselors and community organizations; and partnering with colleagues throughout the College.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to inquiries from prospective students and families.
  • Recruiting students through travel.
  • Organizing and executing recruitment programming on and off campus.
  • Guiding prospective students through the admissions process, including application and enrollment steps.
  • Serving as a resource for students, families, and school counselors and community-based organizations.
  • Supporting recruiting and enrollment programs, projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Reviewing applications and making admissions recommendations.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Google, and the ability to quickly master new platforms, applications, and programs.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during busy seasons. Travel is estimated at 20%.
