FRONT DESK LEAD POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Front Office Lead is responsible for over-seeing the day-to-day operations of the front office functions including patient registration/reception, scheduling, and patient check-out/discharge in accordance with established protocol of the practice.


FRONT DESK LEAD ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversight of front office personnel staff to ensure they are compliant and performing the front office functions efficiently and effectively in all 3 Cornerstone Orthopedics Locations, Superior, Westminster and moving to Golden end of September;
  • Cover Staff absences as necessary at any o four 3 locations
  • Communicating inefficiencies in a timely fashion;
  • Assist in training of new, and ongoing education and training of existing, front office personnel;
  • Providing frequent feedback for all front office employees, relating to job performance.
  • Oversight of patient satisfaction, including handling patient complaints and ensuring front office personnel have the appropriate customer service attitude;
  • Work with Practice Manager and Division Administrator, on process and procedure improvements related to all front office functions and practice EMR system;
  • Communication and collaboration with business office, medical assistants and physicians to ensure smooth and proper functioning of clinic, problem solving;
  • Attend regular department meetings;
  • Review schedules for the clinics, communicate all issues relating to schedule to Practice Manager;
  • Promote teamwork, maintain a positive work environment

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$23 - 26Per hour

Requirements:

FRONT DESK LEAD REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Highly motivated person with strong leadership, customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Patience and communication skills- internally and externally

FRONT DESK LEAD WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Typical business office environment
  • Constant viewing of computer monitor, typing
  • Frequent standing, walking and sitting
  • Frequent stooping, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling 10 pounds or more
  • Hours of business are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
