Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage patient flow, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, enter data into our computerized scheduler, and coordinate referrals with insurance and other physician offices.
- Registration and Billing: Register patients, verify accuracy, and prepare billings for processing by finance.
- Cash Handling and Customer Service: Collect payments from patients, reconcile daily cash reports, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Identify and solve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, and develop alternate solutions.
- Education: High school diploma/GED required; one year certificate from college or technical school with concentration in front office support for medical settings preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a front desk/customer service related field required; experience in a medical office preferred.
