Repair Center Manager - Rhino Tool House


Job duties are to oversee Operations of the Walled Lake Service Center Including but not limited to the following:

• Oversee day to day operations of the Service Center

• Oversee day to day supervision of staff

• Drive Operation Strategies

• Gather KPI report data to gauge performance, targets, and objectives

• Development and Implementation of productivity standards and goals for staff

• Manage Quality Assurance

• Ensure Site Compliance including Safety, Standards, and any requirements

• Maintain Inventory, inventory levels, and develop a lean inventory stock

• Facilitate team meetings & trainings

• Facility Safety Lead (OSHA Certificate)

• Facilitate Safety Meetings

• Oversee facility Safety Concerns

• Approve employee Timecards and Vacation time

• Approve Expenses and determine if they adhere to company policy

• Complete Employee reviews, review with the employee, go over performance goals

• Monitor employee happiness and create a positive work environment

• Adhere to our Core Values

• Standard Operation Procedure development & execution

• Streamline work processes

• Prioritize technician workloads, while implementing improvements to workflow

• Review/Maintain RTH Repair Status Reports

• Review/Maintain Repair Tracker

• Review/Maintain Blanket Purchase Orders

• Review & Track Turnaround times

• Forecasting Monthly Sales

• Maintain our Gross Margins

• Communicate with the Sales Engineers and Service Sales about potential customers & workloads

• Practice lean facility management (example office supplies, shop equipment etc.)

• Maintain company vehicle (State Registrations, State inspections)

• Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the industry

• Ensure site compliance of Labor, Health, and Safety laws

• Assisting with Audit Requests

• Order supplies

• Manage/prepare all incoming and outgoing shipments

• Oversee the adherence to ISO certifications

• Answer incoming Phone Calls and Emails

Participate in Meetings, Customer or internal

• Follow-up with customer questions or any complaints

• Follow-up with customers regarding lead times

• Ensuring that our customers are getting value added service from our employees

• Assist Technicians in trouble shooting repairs/evaluations

• Assist Technicians in finding parts breakdowns

• Upload Part Breakdowns into Netsuite

• Receive all incoming tools, create an order in Netsuite, entering the customer and tool information. Print a label, attached to repair tag, attach repair tag to tool, place tool onto incoming tool shelf

• Prioritize incoming tool shelf based on tool’s receipt date or repair urgency

• Receive tool repair evaluation from technician, for accuracy check technician notes with parts line items listed

• Finalize quote in Netsuite and send to customer

• For outdated quotes Follow-up with customer/sales engineer

• Receive Purchase Orders, turn Quotes into Sales Orders, upload a copy of the Purchase Order to Netsuite

• Receive parts pricing, enter new parts into Netsuite, update existing parts with up-to-date pricing

• Enter New RPR tool model numbers into Netsuite

• Receive incoming UPS/Fedex/Freight Shipments

• Match Incoming Packing Slips with the items received

• Receive the items received in Netsuite, Upload the scanned Packing Slips into netsuite

• Allocate received parts to the correct repair and bin location

• Assign/move tools to the proper technician/shelf when all parts are received

• Receive completed tools paperwork, Fulfill Sales Order

• Package completed tools and get ready for shipment

• Stage all completed tools that will be hand delivered and create a packing slip

• Scan & Upload all signed delivery packing slips into Netsuite

• Declined tools, identify future product and customer needs and send the opportunity to the appropriate Sales Engineer

• Manage Outside Vendor repairs, email vendor, fill out required vendor paperwork, create a quote in Netsuite, Create RFQ, package the tool for shipment, enter tracking and RMA into Netsuite, follow-up with vendor, Quote Customer, Create PO Etc

• Customer onsite support, assisting with onsite PM’s/Calibrations, Urgent tool pick-up if necessary

• Schedule onsite PM’s & Calibrations

• Assisting the Sales Team on what specific tools will fit the customers needs

• Assist in quoting tool management programs

• Assist Sales Engineer with onsite Service Sales in Johnny’s absence

• Distribution – Receive Incoming Distribution Shipments, verify packing slip vs shipment, Scan packing slip, receive items in Netsuite, upload packing slip to Netsuite. Put away received items
