We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our attraction, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Maintenance: Empties, cleans, and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash, washes doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures, safely cleans and mops spills, and cleans drinking fountains.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Cleans and disinfects restrooms, including floors, walls, fixtures, and mirrors, and restocks restroom supplies as necessary.
  • Reporting and Safety: Reports on the need for maintenance and repair, observes safe working practices, and corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operates a variety of custodian tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Additional Duties: Performs related duties as required or assigned, including opening and closing facility systems and providing technical team assistance as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Personality and Skills: Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality, excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
  • Physical Demands: Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
  • Work Environment: Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team, and flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
