Your Potential Role:
Denark has an opening for a Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator, who will provide full-cycle recruiting and coordinate all Career Development initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Recruiting:
1. Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs and develop talent acquisition strategies.
2. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, career/job fairs and team member referrals.
3. Perform initial screening to assess candidate qualifications.
4. Manage the interview process, including scheduling interviews, gathering feedback from interviewers, and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers.
5. Conduct reference checks, background screenings and pre-employment assessments.
6. Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with selected candidates.
7. Perform all pre-start initiatives prior to new hires first day, to include mailings, check-ins, and office/technology setup.
8. Develop and administer orientation and on-boarding programs for each new hire, to include arranging internal Sponsor and Mentor and regular follow-up.
9. Provide regular follow-up with new hire, Supervisor and Sponsor to ensure all expectations are being met.
10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Career Development:
1. Follow-up on any 90-day review issues/expectations as needed.
2. Coordinate all Career Development initiatives as needed, to include: coordinating meetings, ensuring proper documentation of goals and timelines, and follow-up dates are met by both team member and supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
1. Minimum one year experience in recruiter role, preferably in construction industry.
2. Experience in Microsoft Office and working in applicant tracking system (ATS).
3. Understanding of social media recruiting.
4. Experience resourcing passive job seekers.
