About Us: At Stars Infant Program, we are a pioneering company dedicated to enhancing child development through innovative and engaging educational programs. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, instill a love for learning, and foster holistic growth in children.
**Duties:**
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
- Address employee questions regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data
- Assist with benefits administration
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in payroll processing
- Proficiency in 10 key typing
- Knowledge of human resources practices
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
- Experience in clerical roles
- Understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems
- Proficiency in journal entries
