PickNik is seeking a dynamic and intelligent Business Development Representative (BDR) who can talk about highly technical products while moving deals forward and building relationships. Our current sales team consists of a CRO, one Account Executive for the Space Industry and an engineering proposal team, supported with strong support from the CTO and the CEO in sales activities. We are currently hiring a second Account Executive. The BDR will be responsible for initiating sales opportunities for our software products and integration services. Urgency, integrity, intelligence, humility, and a numerical results-driven mindset will be keys to success in this role.

What you'll be working on:
- Achieving and exceeding your quota for outbound communications and new business origination.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Understand PickNik's typical customer engagement process and set expectations accordingly with prospects.
- Develop and nurture executive relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on customer-centric solutions.
- Driving excitement and desire to meet with PickNik at trade shows.
- While outbound is your primary responsibility, you will also have responsibility for handling inbound leads from the web-site.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a BDR.
- 3+ years experience in an enterprise software and/or software services company.
- Experience working at an early stage company.
- Entrepreneur mindset, capable and excited about generating their own pipeline.
- Ability to effectively communicate with potential customers and build relationships.
- Knowledge and experience in engaging both C-level executives and engineering leadership, and a solid understanding of how to work with both.
- Able to travel to tradeshows, conferences, and customer sales trips 5-8 times per year.
- US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
- Live in the Boulder/Denver area and are able to be in-office 3-4 days per week.
