A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated FAA Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the FAA's acquisition processes by conducting pre-award activities, developing pre-award artifacts, collaborating with stakeholders and improving the Task Order evaluation process. This position requires a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of essential pre-award documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Evaluation Criteria, Business Cases and more.
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates to ensure proposals align with strategic goals and financial constraints.
  • Work closely with CORs on multiple FAA Task Order vehicles.
  • Offer expertise in tailoring evaluation documents and criteria.
  • Refine Task Order specifications to reflect organizational needs.
  • Assist in the preparation and refinement of Task Order artifacts.
  • Collect and analyze requirements to streamline post-award processes.
  • Enhance the outcome of the proposal selection process.
  • Eliminate redundancies across contracts.
  • Gather and analyze critical information from various sources.
  • Consolidate findings and deliver concise, actionable insights to facilitate rapid, informed decision-making.


Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with FAA acquisition processes is highly desirable.


Skills Preferred:

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with FAA Task Order vehicles and pre-award activities.
  • Familiarity with cost estimation and financial analysis.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, contract management or a related field and 15-20 years' experience.


Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
