At Harbor House, we're more than just a shelter-we're a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence. Our mission is to prevent and eliminate domestic violence through a comprehensive approach that includes emergency shelter, legal advocacy, a domestic abuse hotline, and more. We provide wrap-around services, including a licensed daycare and one of the few on-site kennels in the state, ensuring that every member of the family is safe and can heal together. JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a dynamic Criminal Justice Manager to lead and manage our Early Victim Engagement, Law Enforcement, and Court programs. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, working closely with the criminal justice system to support survivors in high lethality cases. You'll oversee program operations, collaborate with law enforcement and court officials, and supervise a dedicated team to ensure survivors receive top-notch crisis counseling, case management, and advocacy services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program Management: Oversee the operation and administration of the Early Victim Engagement and CPI programs.
  • Community Collaboration: Be the bridge between Harbor House and criminal justice partners. Work directly with law enforcement, the courts, and community organizations to identify and support high-risk domestic violence cases.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of dedicated advocates, ensuring they deliver quality crisis counseling, case management, and advocacy services to survivors.
  • Boots on the Ground: Be the face of Harbor House in the community, actively participating in court cases, law enforcement collaborations, and on-the-ground efforts to protect and empower survivors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and compile statistical reports to meet funding requirements and support our mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of service management experience, preferably in a domestic violence program, law enforcement, or a related victim advocate program.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of personnel practices and procedures.
    • Ability to identify program needs and implement effective programmatic changes.
    • Proven crisis intervention skills with the ability to respond swiftly and effectively.
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
    • Clean driving record required.
    • Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
TRAINING REQUIREMENT
  • Must attend a 3-day training to become CORE certified prior to working with survivors.
