Edgeless Beauty Group is seeking a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support the daily administrative functions of our HR department and affiliated brands. This entry-level position is based in our main office in the vibrant Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee. Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide support in the recruitment process for affiliate brands, including job posting, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of team member data.
  • Help ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, including maintaining confidential team member records.
  • Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new hires and the off-boarding process for departing team members.
  • Assist in setting up digital systems for new team members, including computer access, clock-in systems, email, and phone setup.
  • Partner with the HR and training teams to help manage the onboarding and training experience for new team members.
  • Assist in gathering feedback from new team members during their first 90 days and share insights with leadership.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as needed to support the HR department.

 

Required Technical Skills, Education, Experience, Training and/or Credentials:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in an administrative role, preferably within Human Resources.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • Communication: Professional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong desire to support and serve others.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
