Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage manufacturing plant capital projects, including project planning, scope, bid process, scheduling, budgets, cost control, resources, change, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of salaried and hourly stakeholders, promoting clear and open communication and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage CAPEX budgets, prepare financial analysis, and understand business drivers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project team members, facilitating change in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure that company technological and proprietary know-how are in place, managed, and respected.

Requirements:

  • 7 – 10+ years of manufacturing plant capital project management experience.
  • Strong technical, managerial, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with purchase requisition related to equipment and construction purchasing contracts.
  • Process engineering experience within the food, beverage, dairy, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Supervisory experience in managing internal and external project team members or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in facilitating change in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment.
  • Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers.
  • CAPEX budgeting and preparation.
  • MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel, basic AutoCAD, Visio.
