Position Description - Warehouse Manager


Business Group/Dept: Operations

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Branch Manager

Date: June 25, 2024


Purpose of the Position

Keeps the warehouse organized and stocked. Delivers materials to jobsites and hauls debris to disposal sites.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory of warehouse by managing cycle counts, logging outside shipments and deliveries.
  • Maintains clean and organized warehouse layout and materials placement.
  • Receives and fills material orders for production.
  • Responsible for all materials, processes, and equipment in the warehouse.
  • Loads and unloads trailers by hand and handheld equipment.
  • Transports trailers of materials to jobsites using company truck.
  • Maintains clean driving record.

Physical activities: Must be on feet for up to 10 hours per day; regular standing, sitting, kneeling, twisting, bending; must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; must be able to work in extreme hot/cold, wet/dry environment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel toed footwear; occasionally hard hat; safety vest; protective eyewear; gloves

Safety Sensitive: Yes

Travel: Up to 25%

Minimum Education: N/A

Preferred Education: High School Diploma
