Roles and Responsibilities:

As Senior Director of Talent Acquisition , you will play a pivotal role in researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

  • Develop and execute a talent acquisition plan that aligns with Fortegra's growth objectives and cultural values
  • Lead internal recruitment efforts, offering guidance and support in achieving hiring goals
  • Actively recruit top talent and oversee end to end recruitment processes
  • Implement and optimize recruitment technologies and tools
  • Revise or establish new recruitment procedures for enhanced efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with HR, department heads and hiring managers to tailor recruitment plans to meet hiring needs
  • Identify innovative sourcing methods to identify top candidates
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate advertising channels and social media platforms for open positions
  • Champion employer branding initiatives to attract and engage top talent, solidifying Fortegra as an employer of choice
  • Conduct intake meetings with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers
  • Collaborate with HR staff during the offer process, providing recommendations on salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Maintain a comprehensive Staffing Plan to support future growth
  • Manages college career fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Monitor and report on key metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Fortegra remains competitive in the talent market.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and company policies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or a related field required
  • At least 5 years experience with proven track record of success in a recruiting function
  • Recruiting in the insurance field required
  • Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques and assessment methodologies
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic, evolving organization
  • Knowledge of hiring practices, employment regulations including compensable factors
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision making
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • High level of integrity & discretion with confidential information
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite products, HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
