The person chosen for the position is responsible for the following:

  • Oversee digital content on all platforms.
  • Help maintain the website, social media platforms and web stream.
  • Collaborate with our digital design team to make sure the website and app are up to date with our specific needs.
  • Help train content/digital staff.
  • Copyedit digital content.
  • Ensure the newsroom is alerted when breaking news happens.
  • Work with producers to ensure branded franchises are being advertised online.
  • Create digital plans for large events and coverage.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of newsroom experience or digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to write and edit copy for website and other digital platforms.
  • Time management skills
  • People skills
  • Multitasking skills
  • Project management skills
  • The ability to collaborate with large teams
