Position Overview

The Senior Marketing Content Strategist - Events is responsible for implementing the Company's sales and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue and generating leads by showcasing our key markets through effective content development and dissemination. This role involves crafting content for various platforms including websites, advertising, social media, and direct interactions. The position also oversees the maintenance of the Company's external websites, print materials, and trade show activities. Collaboration with Business Development, Operations, and other departments is essential.

  • Creates compelling content that highlights the Company's offerings and target markets to drive revenue and lead generation across digital platforms.
  • Manages the timely publication of content on the Company's external websites and ensures regular system updates.
  • Plans and coordinates the Company's presence at trade shows, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Designs and disseminates email marketing campaigns to promote services and events.
  • Utilizes desktop publishing tools to refine print marketing materials.
  • Analyzes and reports on the performance of websites, email campaigns, events, and digital content.
  • Conducts research to provide insights on industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Maintains consistency and quality in branding across all marketing initiatives.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Matrix business model, services, and the markets served.
  • Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, journalism, or communications.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with mass email marketing tools is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics is advantageous.
  • Background in marketing within engineering, construction, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO practices is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and dynamic environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
