What You’ll Do
Conexus is seeking a Licensed Customs Broker & Logistics Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients.

  • Manage Import and Export Processes: Oversee the comprehensive import and export procedures, encompassing the preparation and submission of essential documentation such as customs declarations, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Ensure Compliance with Customs Regulations: Stay abreast of evolving customs laws and regulations, ensuring strict adherence to legal prerequisites. Accurately classify goods, ascertain duty rates, and procure essential licenses and permits.
  • Liaise with Government Agencies and Customs Authorities: Serve as the intermediary between clients and customs authorities, adeptly resolving issues, furnishing documentation, and ensuring adherence to customs regulations.
  • Provide Expert Customs Advice: Extend expert guidance to clients on customs regulations, procedures, and requisites, facilitating efficient navigation through intricate customs processes.
  • Collaborate with Shipping and Logistics Teams: Partner with shipping and logistics teams to streamline the timely and efficient transportation of goods. Offer requisite documentation and monitor shipment progress diligently.
  • Maintain Impeccable Records: Uphold meticulous records of import and export activities, ensuring all mandatory documentation is accurately filed and archived.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously update your understanding of customs laws, regulations, and industry practices to ensure seamless compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver Superior Customer Service: Interact with clients and stakeholders, promptly and professionally addressing concerns and inquiries to ensure utmost client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field preferred.
  • Possession of a valid customs broker license.
  • Exposure to the food industry and experience with food products.
  • Prior experience in customs brokerage or relevant fields is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures within the specific country or region of operation is desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including customs software and systems, is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of customs laws and regulations is crucial.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical prowess and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in customs software and systems is preferred.
  • Language proficiency in both English (required) and Chinese (preferred, not required).
