Accounts Receivable Specialist

Community Association Management Company looking for an analytical account receivable professional to assist our accounting department as it receives, processes, and collects assessments for Homeowner Associations. In this role, you will be required to review account information, correct discrepancies, and ensure that accounts are properly billed and that payments are posted.

To succeed as an account receivable professional, you should be a skilled and thorough researcher with excellent communication and record-keeping skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math and computer skills.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

  • Maintain billing and verification of proper billing
  • Daily verification of lockbox processing and proper posting
  • Maintain data through processing out sellers and buyers in after property transition
  • Process payments received in office
  • Process delinquency notices based on collection policy
  • Coordinate referral of unpaid accounts to attorney
  • Work with other team members to ensure account accuracy
  • Work with other accounting team member to facilitate budgets and year end audits
  • Assist owners regarding account questions

Accounts Receivable Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • HOA experience helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - based on experience
