The Patient Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient care activities. We are looking for a candidate with a STRONG focus on providing exceptional front desk customer service. As a mental health practice, the manner in which our patients are greeted- in person and on the phone - is paramount. In fact, hospitality experience is preferred (but not required).

As the company grows, there will be promotional opportunities for the right candidates into leadership. For this role we are ONLY considering candidates with at least three years of healthcare experience, and at least one year of previous management experience, as we are committed to developing a layer of experienced team members to step into leadership roles quickly.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receive inbound phone calls to assist patients with administrative matters such as insurance coverage, scheduling, and general customer service. 
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with EMR guidelines using AdvancedMD software.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for performing other duties as assigned to deliver a best-in-class experience for our patients, referral clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred but not required with a minimum of five years of healthcare experience. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and be willing to use personal vehicle on business occasions.
  • Candidates with previous team leadership and formal management experience will be prioritized.
  • Only local candidates will be considered.

Compensation based on experience and education level.
