Landscape Designer

We are growing and need a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced Landscape Designer to help create functional outdoor living spaces for homeowners and businesses, estimate plans, and sell work.

Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients to determine their landscape wants and needs.

- Conduct site analysis of existing lot conditions and document with notes and pictures.

- Review and understand plans, proposed changes, and necessary documents.

- Manage, build, maintain, represent, and sustain company relationships with HOA’s, Builders, and, Vendors.

- Anticipate and maintain client needs with positive solutions in a suitable manner and provide honest and candid feedback to clients regarding their perceptions of ideas, products, and services being provided to maximize client retention.

- Follow up on sales leads

- Verify material prices with vendors

- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences

- Create detailed landscape designs and plans, including plant selection, hardscape elements, and irrigation systems

- Provide estimates and prepare contracts for landscaping projects

- Oversee the installation of landscape projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications

- Collaborate with sales team to promote and sell landscape design services

Requirements:

- Formal education in landscape construction, horticulture or 4+ years of experience using these skills preferred.

- Degree in Landscape Design or 2+ years of design experience and estimating

- Proficient with AutoCAD, DynaSCaPE, or Pro Landscape design software

- Excellent communication skills

- Self-starting initiative to pursue sales without prompting of management

- Basic understanding of materials and labor costing

- Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Fluent in English

- Team player who will take initiative and be willing to do things outside of job description

- Excited to design, create, and help clients.

- Knowledge of plant species, irrigation systems, and hardscape materials

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Note: Experience in sales would be considered an asset.

Salary is based on experience/negotiable
