Position Prospectus – Client Care Specialist Tier I

We have an exciting opportunity for an amazing Client Care Specialist. The Client Care Department is an integral part of Advantage Technologies. Our department serves as the hub of communications for our clients, support and field technicians, sales, and more. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement.

This is not a technical position. Technical questions and help with tech issues are handled by our Support Department. Our focus is providing world-class customer service to all of our clients.

Client Care Department: We guide the client through the on-boarding process, assist them with scheduling, call to confirm appointments, track deliveries, and schedule onsite and remote service work. We keep inventory on hand to fulfill orders and are responsible for keeping equipment in stock for technicians, etc.

Do you excel at organization, paying attention to the fine details, and have the ability to shift quickly from one task to another? Do you enjoy speaking to new people and building relationships? Top-notch communication skills are a requirement as this person will take the lead on answering incoming Client Care phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Politely and professionally answer phone calls with a positive attitude. Transfer calls to technicians, sales personnel, management, etc. Field questions from clients regarding scheduling, shipments, and more.
  • Help build and maintain relationships with our clients.
  • Schedule service calls (onsite and remote).
  • Ship and receive orders. Maintain emergency stock and office supply inventory. Must be able to lift 40 lbs occasionally.
  • Confirmation calls for service (both onsite and remote)
  • Tracking for deliveries (contacting clients and rescheduling techs if shipments are delayed)
  • Print materials and prepare Welcome binders.

Compensation Plan: The position is salary plus benefits and Simple IRA with employer match up to 3% after 90 days. The salary is evaluated each year at your annual review, and there are great growth opportunities with our team. Compensation includes:

Advancement Opportunity: The Client Care Representative is a great entry level opportunity on the Client Care team. As the customer base grows, we make it a policy to promote from within. This position must report to the Operations Center in Chesterfield/New Baltimore area Monday through Friday 8am-5pm for regular work hours and is not being considered as a remote position.

Probationary Period: The first 90 days of employment is considered a probationary and training period. The probationary period will be considered complete (possibly ahead of 90 days), if the individual can demonstrate satisfactory results in the key responsibility areas listed above.
