  • Responsible for the overall health of MIS systems including servers, network equipment, operating systems, storage, data integrity, virtual infrastructure, and security.
  • Responsible for training and assisting all other Systems personnel.
  • Responsible for all of the systems-related tasks, including scheduling and assignments.
  • Responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of all MIS computer systems.
  • Researches problems or errors within the MIS infrastructure and recommends a proper course of action for recovery or repair.
  • Required to document all facets of the MIS Systems operations.
  • Responsible for the integrity of all server backup and restoration operations.
  • Develops and implements standards for workstation operating system installations.
  • Responsible for maintaining network/system monitoring software.
  • Performs systems diagnostics on a routine basis to identify potential deficiencies within the MIS Systems.
  • Propose and implement capital projects to improve the IT operation.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum seven (7) years in MIS and Computer Industry.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments.
  • Strong experience with WAN and LAN equipment and software
  • Experience with storage systems (local and cloud)
  • Strong experience with Virtual Environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of business including weekends and holidays.
