Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Systems Manager at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. This role will be responsible for the overall health and maintenance of our MIS systems, including servers, network equipment, operating systems, storage, data integrity, virtual infrastructure, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of all MIS computer systems, including servers, network equipment, and storage.
  • Problem-Solving: Researches problems or errors within the MIS infrastructure and recommends a proper course of action for recovery or repair.
  • Documentation: Required to document all facets of the MIS Systems operations, including system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and security protocols.
  • Training and Support: Responsible for training and assisting all other Systems personnel, including providing guidance on system administration, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
  • Network and System Monitoring: Responsible for maintaining network/system monitoring software and performing systems diagnostics on a routine basis to identify potential deficiencies within the MIS Systems.
  • Capital Projects: Proposes and implements capital projects to improve the IT operation, including upgrades to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team, and performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Customer Relations: Promotes outstanding customer relations and ensures that all IT services are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum seven (7) years in MIS and Computer Industry, with experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with WAN and LAN equipment and software, experience with storage systems (local and cloud), and strong experience with Virtual Environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of business, including weekends and holidays.
