Position Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:

 

  • Assisting members of our team seeking technical assistance via our ticketing system, in person and voice.
  • Assist with employee equipment during on/offboarding
  • Assists in training for computers or software within the organization. Training needs may include support for new hires, for employees in new roles or with new assignments, and for organization-wide training on new software, programs, or company-wide IT system changes or policies.
  • Installing/configuring workstations and peripherals including network printers/scanners, monitors, UPS, laptops, tablets and iPad mobile devices.
  • Maintain device inventory and warranty information. Packaging and shipping/processing returned equipment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills for the IT Support Specialist:

 

  • Thorough understanding of common software including the entire Microsoft365 suite, Windows 10/11.
  • Working knowledge of AD/AAD/Intune/MEM/Exchange/Autopilot/OneDrive/Sharepoint/Azure Environments
  • Working knowledge of FreshService/FreshDesk
  • Working knowledge of Ubiquiti/Unifi networks
  • Working knowledge of Network Print Queue management
  • Proficient in IOS Administration using Jamf
  • Ability to patiently explain technical material to less technically proficient users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of the IT team.

 

Education and Experience for the IT Support Specialist:

 

  • Any related technical certifications are preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a direct customer service/support role is required

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Non-contract, in office position: Monday - Friday
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, bend frequently throughout the day
