Camp Transportation Specialist

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in a child-focused environment
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Current certifications in First Aid/CPR; must acquire any additional certifications necessary for the role
- Complete PPE and safety protocol training before the first shift
- Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screening
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and possess personal transportation
- Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of employment and maintain throughout tenure
- Exemplify YMCA values and demonstrate leadership qualities
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and solve problems effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills and a personal commitment to service and hospitality
Ongoing Duties:
- Implement COVID-19 safety measures and protocols before, during, and after camp
- Instruct campers on safe driving practices in a respectful manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and guidelines to guarantee passenger safety
- Maintain branch certifications in CPR and other required training
- Support all aspects of the YMCA and its community initiatives
- Complete incident/accident reports as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Deliver outstanding customer service to parents
- Implement safety standards in program activities
- Demonstrate and instill YMCA values

Physical Requirements:
Ability to actively supervise children, manage equipment, and ensure a safe environment. Must be capable of climbing, walking, running, stooping, squatting, or kneeling as required. Utilize senses to guarantee safe supervision. Work within an organization that embodies the values they promote.
