Director, Business Development  

                                                       

 

The candidate will have a background in Business Development and is willing to provide such services to PRC based on this background.

 

·      PRC is a provider of the following services to its customers: Managing Product Returns, Product Returns Refurbishment, Warehousing and Logistics.

·      Develop opportunities for PRC to provide services to New Clients.

 

PRC desires to drive and expand the business of PRC and have services provided by the Director, Business Development (Director) to grow its business in United States.

   

The Director will provide the following services (collectively, the "Services"): Business Development services to expand the Consumer and Industrial Product Re-manufacturing, returns management and full logistic business.

 

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, revenue generation will be the priority. The Director will be accountable to plan, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluate the sales and marketing activities for the company.  Responsibilities include the development and implementation of both short- and long-term returns, product refurbishment, warehousing, and total logistics solutions marketing and sales plan.

 

 

Knowledge and Skills  

 

Preferred:        University degree in business administration and/or marketing or in a discipline related to logistics management

7 years of experience in warehouse and transportation logistics sales and marketing

5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations

 

Minimum:        University degree in business administration and/or marketing or in a discipline related to logistics management

3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse and transportation logistics sales and marketing

3        years of experience in warehouse and freight logistics operations

 

 

Key Accountabilities
 

A.    Execute the sales and marketing plan for the company

 

Look after the end-to-end process of finding the right customers, with the right solution for their product returns, logistics, product refurbishment, and warehousing needs, at the right price point.  Armed with an exceptional understanding of the market and the product returns refurbishment, warehousing and logistics industry, market and be able to sell a total package, plus any specialized services.  Must understand and be able to negotiate a profitable pricing structure and service-level agreement.

 

B. Manage operational activities associated with sales and marketing.

 

Act as prime liaison between the client and the company for both new and existing accounts. Understand and interpret client needs and be able to communicate to all stakeholders.  A strong understanding of the industry is required to monitor key performance indicators, translate clients’ requirements, draft, and interpret policy and procedures, negotiate pricing agreements and manage special projects.

 

C.  Provide and maintain good customer service and solve problems.

 

To build a solid pipeline of repeat and new business, ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service during the product returns remanufacturing warehousing and logistics process.  Address problems with the customer face to face as well as on the phone or by email.

 

D.   Perform administrative activities associated with sales and marketing.

 

Perform all account administration associated with the marketing and selling function.  This would include responding to requests for quotation and performing appropriate due diligence and background checks of potential clients.  Also included would be after-sales administration activities, such as pipeline and key performance indicator reporting and financial evaluation of budgets and budget forecasts.  

 

 

 

COMPENSATION. Annual compensation will be $85,000 per year. Payments will be subject to all mandatory federal and state withholding taxes.

 

COMMISSION PAYMENTS. PRC will make commission payments to the Director based on Net Sales of services (% TBD). Net Sales is defined as total revenue less all returns, rebates or chargebacks borne by PRC.  

 

LOCATION. The position will be Hybrid. PRC’s Corporate office is in Hauppauge, New York. Periodic travel to other PRC locations in North Carolina and Nevada may also be required.
