Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and guide the production of operations to meet annual goals and objectives.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership for the entire team, including operations, planning, quality, manufacturing engineering, and more.
  • Develop and implement general operating plans and manufacturing policies to drive business growth.
  • Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure optimal use of company funds.
  • Lead safety efforts, including administering safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, and maintaining records.
  • Resolve safety, production, quality, scrap, incentive, and maintenance problems through effective communication with subordinates, supervisors, and support functions.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve factory velocity and customer lead-time.
  • Meet annual operating plan objectives for shipment dollars, productivity savings, inventory turns, customer service targets, quality, absorption/spending, and Lean Transformation.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree desired and/or at least 10 years of operations/manufacturing/materials management experience.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing organization required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Green or Black Belt Certified preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Accounting for a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage in a matrix org structure.
  • Strong understanding of assembly operations.
  • Customer-centric approach.
