IT Support Specialist

Position Overview
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and patches computer systems and hardware.
- Assists in the maintenance of networks, software, and hardware for systems.
- Provides general technical support for networks, PCs, printers, and other miscellaneous hardware and software.
- Provides front-line and high-level IT hardware, software, and network support to internal and/or external clients to simplify and enhance their IT experience.
- Replies to requests for technical assistance; identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks; and escalates technical issues if unable to resolve.
- Manages and maintains IT equipment tracking.
- Creates, ships, tracks and retrieves equipment bundles for end-users.
- Develops Flows with Microsoft’s Power Automate to help end-users automate processes.
- Edits and maintains WordPress websites.
- Identifies, develops and tests Wordpress plugins that utilize HTML, PHP, Javascript and MySQL.
- Have extensive knowledge of Microsoft user / PC management and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to make decisions and problem solve
- Desire to assist all employees to ensure their day is IT efficient
- Understanding of importance of system and process documentation on a continual basis
- Scripting/Programming/Database experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Physical Demands:
- Able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time using a phone, computer keyboard and monitor
