Responsibilities:

  • Full-time permanent position - Radiology
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • 8 AM to 5 PM
  • No call, no nights, no weekends
  • Perform breast and thyroid biopsies, post-biopsy dressing, wound care, and patient emergency situations
  • Supervise and interpret DEXA scans for osteoporosis
  • Take an active role in patient and family education, communication between referring physicians and patient families
  • Developing and implementing Lung Cancer Screening program and PSMA program
  • Act as a Liaison in partnership with referring physicians in the community to provide information and education on Lung Cancer Screening Program, PSMA, and DEXA reports, results, and interpretation
  • Scheduled days and times in the field to provide educational lunches to referring offices on these programs

Qualifications:

  • Florida Physician Assistant License
  • BLS/ACLS Certified
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience performing hands-on procedures
