Key Responsibilities:
- Account Growth: Strategically expand business within existing accounts year over year, leveraging deep understanding of customer needs and challenges.
- Travel: Weekly or Bi-Weekly 50% - 70%
- Hunter experience: Focus on net new sales acquisition with contacts that are responsible for a regional portfolio of locations (multi state area)
- Farmer experience: Focused on engaging with regional facilities
- Customer Relationships: Own and nurture regional customer relationships, ensuring program success and client satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Deploy innovative sales approaches to secure new business and expand our presence in the market.
- Client Mapping: Continuously gather intelligence on customer organizations, including departmental structures, current events, capital spending plans, and upcoming projects.
- CRM Management: Actively manage Salesforce to ensure pipeline visibility, accurate activity reporting, and clear opportunity tracking. This includes:
- Logging all client interactions (meetings, emails, calls) in the system.
- Keeping opportunity details, stages, and dates updated in real-time.
- Regularly updating revenue projections in collaboration with leadership.
- Conferences: Participate in selected industry conferences as determined by leadership, including preparation, networking, and follow-up activities.
- Customer Communication: Engage in consistent daily, weekly, and monthly communication with current and potential clients to build strong relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Bid Strategy: Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop winning strategies for bids and RFPs.
- Onboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding of new business by aligning customer expectations with our deliverables.
- Customer Feedback: Provide realistic feedback to customers about what is achievable and act as a change agent when necessary.
- Positive Attitude: Bring enthusiasm and a positive outlook to every aspect of your work.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven success in selling to regional clients, preferably within the facilities maintenance industry.
- Experience with B2B Sales
- Hunter and Farmer experience
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.
