Account Manager Job Description

The Wasserstrom Company, a leading Food Service Distributor, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Hospitality Division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the Northern Texas region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store-level, regional-level, and national-level buyers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain extensive product knowledge, including non-food service products such as décor, merchandising, marketing, and signage materials.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven sales success.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategy, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Hospitality industry is desired.
