Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Panel Recruitment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess both tactical skills to manage the health of our existing panel and strategic acumen to source high-quality new panelists from multiple online (such as forums and social media platform) and in-person channels (such as events and conferences). This role requires a blend of recruiting and panel management know-how, and strategic thinking to ensure the recruitment, maintenance, and engagement of top-tier panelists. Travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Panel Management & Support:

  • Training & Best Practices: Inform and train panel users on best practices for project feasibility, coding screeners, and distributing screener surveys to the panel.
  • Survey Coordination: Oversee the coding and distribution of surveys to ensure adherence to best practices and provide support for sampling and feasibility.
  • Panel Updates: Implement updates to intake screener data and manage the clean-up and refresh of panel member information.

Researcher Support:

  • Panel Data Insights: Provide the latest panel data to researchers, track and manage profiling requests, and advise on recruitment best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with research teams to strategize and execute specialized recruitment efforts.

Client Support:

  • Survey Management: Receive, code, and distribute surveys from clients, ensuring smooth project execution and addressing any issues.
  • Record Maintenance: Update records on project completions, survey data, and client credits.

Panel Growth & Marketing:

  • Gap Analysis: Monitor panel profile gaps and strategize with research leads to target specific communities for panel growth.
  • Multichannel Campaigns: Execute and optimize marketing campaigns across email, paid advertising, referrals, and social media to recruit new respondents.
  • Campaign Evaluation: Analyze and make data-driven recommendations to optimize recruitment efforts.

Process Optimization:

  • Internal Guidance: Act as a point of contact for inquiries, providing guidance on best practices and championing quality in panel processes.
  • Feature Development: Drive insights and prioritize new features for the panel platform in collaboration with the development team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in panel recruitment and management.
  • Strong understanding of user research practices and methodologies.
  • Experience designing research participant screeners to target specific profiles for research studies.
  • Experience coding and distributing research screeners through survey tools (such as Qualtrics, Alchemer, etc.)
  • Proficient in sourcing research panelists to panels and/or projects through custom marketing campaigns.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and training skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative skills for content creation and marketing campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities.
  • Able to work in a growing, dynamic, and evolving environment.
