Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and scientifically adept individual to become a part of our Molecular Biology Research and Development team. The focus of this role will be on the research and development of new DNA products, specifically emphasizing cell-free amplification processes and quality control method development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in research and development initiatives centered on innovative enzymatic synthesis methods for DNA.
  • Assist in the creation of new assays to facilitate product development.
  • Participate in the formulation, documentation, and evaluation of analytical method protocols.
  • Generate technical reports and presentations to effectively communicate scientific results within the team.
  • Oversee supply inventory and identify necessary products.
  • Ensure that the workspace, equipment, and storage areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 0-5 years of pertinent experience in nucleic acid delivery, with practical experience in molecular biology research and development.
  • Preferred experience in cell-free DNA preparation.
  • Familiarity with DNA-related analytical techniques (gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, QPCR, NGS, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to foster a supportive environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A humble attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute positively to the team.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 15 lbs when necessary.
