Human Resource Administrator

Bend, Oregon

 

Elite Electric is looking to hire a full-time office administrator to manage our human resource department. We are a large electrical construction company that has been in business in Bend, Oregon for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality electrical design and installation that is delivered by the best team around. Employee longevity is our top priority and is what sets our team apart from the competition. We are looking to add a team player that will help us achieve, maintain, and accelerate our goals.

 

Principle Responsibilities:

• Organize, file, and track large amounts of electronic and hard-copy documentation.

• New employee on boarding, collecting and processing documentation, and employee file set up.

• Assist with daily office and project site needs.

• Management of employee benefits.

• Answer and direct phone calls.

• Administration of the Elite Electric Safety program: Scheduling and preparing safety meetings and employee training. Management of OSHA documentation and maintenance of the safety program.

• Cross training with other office team members.

 

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Post graduate training in human resources and/or HR law preferred.

 

Experience

• Experience in employee management mandatory.

• Experience processing accounts payable, or receivable invoices preferred.

• Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and equipment preferred.

• Professional experience with QuickBooks and ProCore Construction Software preferred.

 

Position Related Skills

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.

• Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.

• Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.

• Ability to work well in a large professional setting. Patience and professionalism are essential.

• Mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required

• Must be able to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments

• Must use independent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results

• Must be able to plan and organize work

 

Hours: 40 hours per week
