WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This position is for a full-time Account Manager that can create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The perfect candidate must have the ability to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

The Account Manager acts as a link between the client and the agency, keeping clients informed at every project stage, educating clients on marketing strategies, and reviewing and up-selling the client on new products and services. The Account Manager will assist fellow account managers with all of their day-to-day activities, including being proactive with regular communication and problem solving, and will lead the strategic development for major campaigns and projects with input from the management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a liaison between the clients and the agency by maintaining regular contact and ensuring that communication flows effectively
  • Evaluate clients' advertising programs and make strategic changes along with suggestions for additional fee products
  • Keep management fully briefed on client needs, concerns and issues; maintain overall client initiatives and calendars
  • Possess thorough awareness of the dental and marketing industries and have general knowledge of the client’s business needs and challenges beyond the direct areas of responsibility
  • Help to develop marketing plans to meet the client’s business goals by working directly with the client to assess and refine needs
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of others; motivate and inspires others; assign and delegate work to others; manage and monitor the work of others
  • Train the firm's staff on how to successfully capture incoming lead opportunities
  • Recognize and resolve agency and client-side project constraints
  • Identify and anticipate potential problems and find alternative solutions; provide timely and constructive responses to problems and questions
  • Present to both the internal team and client in a formal and informal setting
  • Oversee the progression of projects; coordinate projects with the internal agency departments
  • Provide support and ongoing guidance to members of the project team
  • Participate in creative development by briefing the creative team, writing creative briefs, and assuring adherence to the strategy during the review process
  • Support and develop team resources, creating an inspiring and positive environment and all internal team members
  • Ensure client satisfaction with agency support in achieving business goals and objectives
  • Responsible for the entire billing process, including the collection of delinquent accounts
  • Successfully utilize a variety of online internal agency tools to perform tasks in a quick pace environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising or marketing or equivalent experience managing clients in a B2B environment or equivalent client-side sales and marketing experience; digital agency experience is a plus
  • Experience in either marketing to or working in the dental industry
  • Direct Sales experience a plus
  • Must have strategic and analytical marketing skills; excellent understanding of integrated marketing strategies, including but not limited to PPC, SEO
  • Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google, CRM Software (Hubspot), Asana
  • Must be a confident self-starter, team player, innovative problem solver, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure, and have strong communications skills
