At RealCraft, our Office Manager represents the heartbeat of the company.  This person is the first point of contact with new hires, organizes company events, and collaborates with all departments to assure that the day-to-day activities go smoothly. A natural communicator, our Office Manager represents RealCraft to vendors, technicians, and our employees.  Flexibility is key, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.  

This person has experience with a variety of office software and can handle administrative duties, to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day‐to‐day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Standardizes office procedures, systems and forms. Recommends system revisions and implements new policies and procedures.
  • Works as a bridge between departments, encouraging communication and fostering positive inter-departmental relationships. 
  • Manages the office maintenance to achieve a clean and professional appearance including selection and purchase of office furniture, accessories and supplies.    
  • Coordinates with facility management vendors, including cleaning and security services.
  • Manage general HR functions, such as employee surveys, new hire onboarding, maintenance of the Employee Handbook, and handling unemployment communications and records.  
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers, representing RealCraft’s best financial interests. 
Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as an office manager or office administrator.
  • Prior experience in general HR functions.
  • Well‐developed interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains absolute confidentiality.  
  • Able to operate independently and self‐manage projects.     
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular). 
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and ADP is preferred but not required.        
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work.      
  • Attention to detail and willing to problem-solve.    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.      
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
