Under the general direction of the Controller, the Accounting Administrative Support role involves a variety of essential tasks to support the Accounting Department. The successful candidate will manage administrative duties, process invoices, maintain records, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

This is a 6 month Contract Role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing customers to the appropriate contact or addressing their needs directly.
  • Prepare, copy, scan, fax, electronically store, and file documents per the Accounting Department procedures.
  • Ensure proper record retention for Accounting Department documents.
  • Process invoices and manage vendor accounts as requested.
  • Process and distribute mail to the appropriate departments/employees.
  • Attend training and meetings as assigned.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Provide administrative support to department employees as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller or designee.

Essential Job-Related Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet established deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to maneuver through various software programs simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using search tools, browsers, email, attaching files, scanning, and faxing.

Essential Physical Demands:

Compensation:

  • Salary range is $42K commensurate with skills and experience.
