About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional HR Business Partner to join our team at Sun Auto Tire & Service. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our retail operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and provide guidance to local leadership
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • Build relationships and consult with senior-level and store operational staff to ensure human resources functions are supporting business goals
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants
  • Visit assigned locations frequently to assess people-related functions and complete audits
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
  • Handle employment-related inquiries and refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of human resources experience, including experience supporting multiple locations, preferably in a large retail organization
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
