Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Reviews international orders to ensure necessary documentation is submitted to the appropriate agency.
- Verifies data within international orders for accuracy.
- Reviews end-user/use statements and knows what to look for to either approve or escalate for further internal investigation.
- Reviews product listed on order with government guidelines to ensure product can be shipped to the country specified.
- Self-classify product when necessary, utilizing knowledge of schedule B and HTS guidelines to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Self-classify products/items for ECCN or USML determinations, using order of review and specially designed analysis.
- Knowledge of what/how to submit the Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing(s) electronically to the Federal Government through the ACE Secure Data Portal.
- Performs screening of the “bill to” and “ship to” addresses to ensure product is not being shipped to individuals or corporations identified as high risk by the U.S. government.
- Provides export control regulatory guidance (subject matter authority) within the company.
- Collects appropriate documentation for historical record keeping per company policies and procedures.
- Assists EO with drafting export license/authorization applications.
- Work closely with other team members to develop and maintain standardized operating procedures.
- May assist other team members with administrative duties and/or projects as required.

- Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR)
- Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- US import customs requirements
- HTS, SchB, ECCN, and USML code order of review/determinations
- OFAC regulations, including sanctions review(s)
- Denied party screenings
