Inside Sales / Counter Sales – Cincinnati, Ohio

Since 1935, Allied Supply Company Inc is an industry leading, family owned, wholesale distributor of Air Filtration, Control Systems, HVACR Parts/Equipment and Refrigeration Products with six locations in Ohio.

We currently have a career opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative at our Cincinnati, OH location.

Job Responsibilities

· Process customer orders and quotations in person or via phone, email, and fax.

· Act as a liaison between the customer, internal resources and manufacturer.

· Provide technical support to customers and associates.

· Establish new customer contacts and increase sales to existing customer base.

· Emphasize service or product features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.

· Provide support for Outside Sales Representatives.

· Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.

· Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.

· Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicate changes with related departments.

· Coordinate with customer service on status of orders to ensure delivery commitment to the customer is met.

· Attend industry conferences to develop industry expertise and build network.

· Ability to maintain physical effort throughout the shift including, standing, bending, lifting, stooping, and squatting.

 

Job Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient level computer skills, experience with CSD & Outlook beneficial, but not required.

· Excellent sales skills.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Punctuality and excellent attendance history – must be dependable.

· Decision-making, problem solving and creative thinking skills.

· Mechanically inclined, general knowledge of Commercial/Residential HVACR systems preferred.

· Two years’ experience in wholesale environment.

· Must be a self-starter.

· Pre-employment screening.
