Inside Sales Representative, SLED

LSS Holdings is seeking a talented B2B/Government Sales Professional to focus on selling facility management services and products to the State, Local and Education markets. The Inside Sales Representative, SLED will be the driving force for securing new customers and business nationally for LSS Holdings’ government vertical.

LSS Holdings is the parent company of Life Safety Services®, Hughes Environmental and Safenetix. LSS Life Safety Services® specializes in the inspection, installation and repair of fire and smoke dampers, fire doors and fire barrier management services in commercial and healthcare facilities across the United States. Considered a leader in the fire safety industry, LSS Life Safety Services® is committed to providing commercial facilities with fire protection inspections of the highest quality to ensure compliance with NFPA’s critical Life Safety Code®. Hughes Environmental performs combustible dust removal, dry ice blasting, commercial air duct cleaning, mold remediation and UVC light installation in HVAC systems in industrial facilities throughout the U.S. Safenetix is an online training center with curriculum for safety professionals.

The Inside Sales Representative, SLED will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities:

·         Effectively selling LSS Holdings services to facility managers through SLED markets through cold calling, emailing, attending tradeshows and other sales practices

·         Manage and own our Sourcewell and OMNIA contracts to aggressively grow the annual revenue for each contract, promote each contract, and train our regional sales representatives how best to leverage the contracts;

·         Build and maintain a consistent sales funnel and pipeline for all lines of business for LSS Holdings’ companies for public sector work;

·         Identify prospect needs and create customized sales proposals;

·         Maintain positive relationships with all your new and existing clients;

·         Work with the VP of Sales and Director of Marketing to develop an annual business plan to market to the public sector;

Qualifications:

·         Strong prospecting, selling and closing skills; proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.

·         Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales quotas.

·         Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.

·         Must be a self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Military Service required.

·         2+ years of experience selling to the SLED market a plus.

·         Some experience using a CRM system helpful.

·         Must have the ability to pass clearance for access to government sites.

·         Knowledge and experience working with Sourcewell and OMNIA contracts not mandatory, but a plus.
