Administrative Support Associate/Clerk
Schedule
- $18.60 hour
- 8am-4:30pm
- Monday through Friday *NO WEEKENDS*
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides information to the freight claims group; obtains, completes, and files paperwork.
- Conducts proof of delivery research including tracking and finding deliveries, verifying missed deliveries, and resolving delivery issues.
- Responds to incoming customer service calls regarding transportation or operational issues. Coordinates with customer care, operations, and the customer to answer questions concerning orders, delivery, and other issues.
- Prepares and distributes month-end reports as needed; provides filing support as needed.
- Processes freight billings.
- Must be willing to cross train on warehouse equipment to assist with will-call orders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook & Excel is preferred)
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to provide both written and verbal communication effectively.
- Strong time-management skills are punctual, meet deadlines, readjust priorities when unforeseen issues arise and plan days for productivity.
- Warehouse background a plus
