Job DescriptionJob Description

Just starting your accounting career? Have you done accounting work forever? Either way, we'd love to hear from you Position will start functioning in the Accounts Payable area but will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas in field of accounting 

Primary responsibility will include all accounts payable transactions including approval for payment, account coding, maintaining vendor files. Will also be working with management to obtain approvals, recordkeeping in the general ledger system and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. Will function as a general support person for the Finance Department doing account reconciliations, analysis and special projects.

Position requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is prferred, but those with an associate degree or comparable experience are welcome to apply
  • Related experience (2-3 years) is helpful, but with a degree is not required.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail - especially numerical details
  • Must be self motivated and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with strong experience in Excel is essential.
